Harvest (a bit late but still important)
When you look at the altar you see something different that 30 years before. You can see the development of harvest. From grains and seeds to tins and boxes. From the colours of nature to the bright and shiny colours of the labels. But what didn't change during all the years, from the beginning of harvest until now, is that there are people who starve while others have a life in luxury. It was always like that, even at the time of Jesus. So we have to learn how to share. The bible says:

Leave the corn of the edges for the poor.
So what shall we do when we don't have a field of corn?

Harvest is not only substantial, it is also about the abilities and talents God has placed in our heart. With those talents we can change something, we can make the world a better place. Harvest is about celebrating the fruits of peoples effort.

It is about thankfulness and the love of God. We can give something back by serving him and helping others with our talents.

Harvest: starve, have, share, heart
